      The Korean Sunstar KM-640BL heavy-duty top and bottom feed machine was a classic for sofas, luggage and leather goods, favored for its solid structure. Yet its outdated split motor system lacks integrated direct drive and advanced automation, failing modern high-output production demands.

      Back in 2014, Honglie foresaw this market gap. We partnered deeply with foreign tech firms to upgrade the KM-640BL platform. After two years of R&D and repeated testing, we launched our self-developed Honglie 8640 Series integrated direct-drive top and bottom feed machine. Optimized from the proven classic structure with modernized functions, this series quickly dominated the mid-to-high-end sofa-focused heavy-duty market and earned widespread customer trust.

      Custom-built for thick, rigid heavy materials, the 8640 Series suits genuine leather, car interiors, upholstered sofas, luggage, waterproof tents, labor gear, thick canvas and multi-layer composites across leather, furniture, auto interior and outdoor goods factories.

     All 8640 models come fully automatic with standard auto thread trim, auto presser foot lift, side cutter and one-touch presser foot stroke adjustment for efficient mass production. The thick reinforced cast iron body and optimized top and bottom feed system deliver smooth, even stitching without shifting. We source all core parts from top-tier industry suppliers, granting the machine a service life of 7–8+ years and cutting long-term replacement & maintenance costs.
